Judge Fafa Alidjani

(pronounced “Ali-Johnny”)

Judge Alidjani was appointed to serve as a Magistrate Judge on December 30, 2019, by the Ada County Magistrate Commission.

Current duties:

Judge Alidjani presides over 

  • Small Claims Court matters

  • Unlawful Detainer Proceedings

  • Guardianship & Conservatorship for Minor Children

  • Guardianship & Conservatorship for Incapacitated or Developmentally Disabled Adults

  • Probate Proceedings

Background & Legal Experience:

Fafa attended Meridian Junior high and graduated from Meridian high school.

She graduated from Boise State University in 1994 (Bachelor of Science) and earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Idaho College of Law in 1998.

She served as a Deputy Prosecutor for Ada County from 1998 to 2015,  prosecuting serious felony offenses, including crimes against children, sex offenses, and other felony offenses including theft related charges.

After 17 years serving as a Deputy Prosecutor ,  Fafa worked alongside her husband in their private practice from 2015 - 2019. During this time, she represented:

  • Children in Child Protection cases

  • Clients in Criminal cases

  • Various civil matters 

    A substantial part of her private practice caseload consisted of pro bono clients who could not afford to hire an attorney.
